Final Cut Pro user group
Hey, this is Ben. Sorry it's been so long since I posted, I work 2 jobs and haven't done much with digital vid. lately. I work at the Apple store in Chandler and I'm getting certified by Apple in Final Cut pro, and I sell computers to people in the digital film industry and students from MCC and SCC, and people are always asking me if there is a Final Cut Pro users group in AZ. I looked it up and didn't see one. So I figured, why don't I start one.
The only requrements are that we have at least 3 leaders, myself + 2 others (Cyndi?), an Apple correspondant (me), a website (I'm working on one), and we need to start having meetings. I bet we can even use the theater area of the Apple Store. The meetings would just be anyone in the valley who is interested in film, digital video editing, media production etc. We could have presentations, workshops, guest speakers. It would be an awesome way to do some networking and education.
I just decided this a few days ago, so I'll keep you posted as time goes on,
