I was at this mold building facility and across the street was this company, CamMate - http://www.cammate.com. They build high-end cranes and steadicams, they also rent them. Film Book I actually read a WHOLE book on film called How To Make A Film For Under $10,000 Without Going to Jail by Bret Stern. It had a lot of good points...BUT I must say, Cyndi is the best teacher ever because everything I read I already knew more in depth. CG GeekfestHey ya'll, just saw a sneak peek of Sky Capt. and boy is it visually awesome. The film itself had some flaws but go see it just to get a look at the cg and the lighting. Anyone Can Do It ...Yes City of God is awesome! I was actually physically shaken when they shot that little kid. This doesn't happen very often. I saw Open Water yesterday. Not a bad little movie. It's inspiring but at the same time disappointing. Anyone could make this movie! It felt very amateurish at certain points (especially the beginning) but it proves anyone can do it!
